About Bogotá

Bogotá is located at 2640 meters above sea level. It has an average temperature of 14 ° C ranging from 9 to 22 º C. Dry and rainy seasons alternate throughout the year. The driest months are December, January, February and March.The wettest are April, May, September, October and November. June and July are usually of low rainfall and August is sunny and windy.

Tour around the Historic Center: The Historic Center of Bogotá is known as La Candelaria and still preserves the memory of the little town. Its narrow streets, its houses with roofs and eaves and the room Colonial hosted the Spanish and Creole aristocracy. There are 2 FREE walking tours around "La Candelaria" at 10 a.m. and at 2 p.m, these tours start at the tourist information point located in a corner of the Bolivar Square; tours in English just Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2 p.m.

Santuario de Monserrate: This hill is the insignia of Colombian capital, located at 3,152 meters above sea level. It is a sanctuary that surprises everybody with the most spectacular view of Bogotá.
